Welcome to The New Confusion
. . .
We were born on rooftops. We are a soul of painters, musicians, writers and everyday human beings, inspired by artists and politicians, street corner poets and classic philosophers, gathered to challenge the proverbial norm. We strive to find new ways of representing the reality we always talk about, but so rarely understand. We are here to confuse you.
- Not all of life is relevant, not all art is relevant, but art can make life relevant, and vice-versa.
- The mind of a child is where the seed of revolution begins. One may choose either role.
From relationships to dinner plans to dorm room decor, there’s plenty in this world that confuses us. No, we don’t know how to deal with the long distance thing, whether you should go for the chicken or the Caesar, and we’re definitely not the ones to tell you where to put your desk. You see, we actually kind of like confusion. It’s been given a bad rep because of all the things we just mentioned, but confusion just means you have a decision to make, and that means you’ve got options, and that’s a good thing.
We look for choices on how to approach the reality that confronts us on the regular. We find explanations in art, music, and the tattered remnants of dreams that people toss on to subway tracks. There is no one way to the truth, so we explore the options.
Spark your lighters up and get privy. Be confused.
