A few quick posts here as I got to get back to studying. Going through the hundreds of RSS feeds I get, I came across the above image and got curious. It seems that Ray Protege is getting ready to release the second volume of his Hipster Hop series on March 8th. Apparently, Ray doesn’t like the Hipster Hop genre – or at least that name for it – and is trying to kill its power by using its name (according to FSD). No matter, the new disc’s cover art (above) is pretty sick. Check out the original volume with cover and track list below. It’s only fair for me to give you warning here: I have only heard a couple of the tracks on this mixtape so far as I haven’t had a chance to set aside some time for it. They’re decent, but just thought you should know I’m making no guarantees.
