Question: Is it art if it’s mechanized? This German gadget, which is a pressurized barrel mounted on a two-axis turntable,works from a distance of 20 feet. It’s directed by an on-board PC and shoots paintballs of all colors at up to 100mph at a wall. Images are uploaded via USB – all you have to do is press play. This thing is even green – most of the colors used erode naturally via UV rays or are washed away by the rain.
So is it art? Is this cheating? Or rather, is this just a tool for artists to make their work? Is this the next roller? Discuss in comments.
