One of the too many blogs that I follow is Endless Canvas, which spotlights street art in the Bay Area. And of the many amazing artists and pieces that I’ve seen because of this blog, I have to say that the one artist/piece that keeps coming up again and again is 7 Seas. Not only is this man getting up, but he’s getting up in style. He’s pushing boundaries with a recognizable, visible alias that, like the old days in NYC, reappears again and again and clearly marks his territory in stylish fashion. It’s not ‘wild style,’ with borderline unrecognizable letters. Instead, 7 Seas opts for a more readable alphabet, but one that remains his own, with drips, tears, and color choice that pops and pleases the eye. Enjoy.
